Dear Friend,

2007 was the year that caring about the environment and going local for sustainability’s sake became mainstream.  The media covered it from all angles, including the critical issue of climate change. Even Hollywood stepped up and Al Gore won an Oscar and an Emmy to go with his Nobel Prize.

Dear Friend,

December 10, 2003

Dear friend,

Thanks to your support, TIME'S UP has had the greatest year in its 16-year history. We have worked with more groups and done more events promoting the environment and non-polluting transportation in a fun but serious way. TIME'S UP has also been recognized by the press, including New York Magazine and the Village Voice. In their "Best of New York" issue of 2003, the New York Press rated us the number one advocacy group in New York City!

Dear Friend,

We're proud to announce that New York City is going to host BikeSummer in 2003! BikeSummer is a month of activities promoting bicycling and improved bicycle infrastructure, held in a different city each year. BikeSummer 2003 is going to be held June 27 - July 25 in all five boroughs. TIME'S UP! has been the catalyst behind this project in New York, and we think it will be a great opportunity to show New Yorkers and out-of-town visitors all the city has to offer.

Dear Friend,

Congratulations! With your help, TIME'S UP! coordinated over eighty events in NYC's five boroughs this year. All of these events have promoted respect for the environment and the New York community. Highlights this year include expanding into Brooklyn with a monthly Moonlight Ride through Prospect Park and helping turn an abandoned lot in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood into a community garden.
